My 1-2-1 Personal Training sessions are dedicated to assisting you to get fit and lose weight. I pre-plan each session to include exercise demonstrations, sets, reps and rest periods to suit your abilities and goals. My sessions are fun, motivational and will lead you to a healthier lifestyle. I offer at home, gym based or virtual training sessions.

At Home Personal Training

With my at home personal training sessions I travel to you at your home, garden, office or a suitable outdoor space, you don’t need any exercise equipment as I bring everything you need for a fantastic motivational workout helping you to get fit and lose weight, you just need to bring yourself and a bottle of water, leave the rest to me.

What are the advantages of at home personal training? You can train in an environment where you feel comfortable.  You don’t need a Gym Membership, you don’t need any kit and you do not need to travel, so you can train in a lunch break and without needing to arrange child care. You still benefit from expert guidance in your form and technique to reduce risk of injury. Get in touch for more information

Gym Based Personal Training

What are the advantages of gym based personal training? As your fitness levels increase and you lose weight, you might start to get more benefit from Gym based sessions. Being in the gym will enable us to access purpose made equipment which can really start to challenge your muscles further assisting in toning and weight loss. There are also plenty of stairs for you to run up and down to keep your fitness levels up. The gym I use is private and has plenty of parking, quiet often we will train alone however there are occasion where other PT’s will be working with their clients. Get in touch for more information

I am happy to meet you at your garden or local open space, due to restrictions I am limiting sessions to two people from the same household, all equipment will be disinfected, with alcohol based spray, in front of you prior to the session commencing. I will run the session with you at a distance. At the end of the session all equipment will be disinfected before I take it away. Alternatively I am happy to undertake virtual sessions using facetime or zoom, please get in touch to discuss your options.

Group PT

My group personal training sessions are a great way to get fit and lose weight with your partner or friend, whilst increasing your fitness and strength. I plan my sessions to be fun and challenging, you’ll certainly break into a sweat working out together.

I prefer to keep my group personal training sessions small, ensuring they are fun and focused whilst allowing for some 1-2-1 instruction. These sessions are for up to 3 people in a gym or 6 if training in an outdoor space.

What are the advantages of group personal training? Exercising in a group adds motivation as you all support each other. Furthermore as the sessions progress you’ll start challenging and pushing each other and that’s a great way to train, get fit and lose weight.

What are the disadvantages of group personal training? You won’t get 100% attention from me. Group personal training isn’t as focused as 1-2-1 sessions, however is be a great way to have a good work out for a little less cost.  Goals will be generalised to the group e.g. “weight loss” “Tone up” and not to an individual’s exact requirement.

Online PT

I offer Online Personal Training and workout plans, these are great if you are a busy individual unable to commit to regular 1-2-1 training sessions or perhaps your comfortable with training but want the some support knowing you have someone to set out your exercises, provide support, nutritional guidance and regular check-ins to keep you motivated.

I know one size doesn’t work for everyone, so I to tailor my services to you, whether you want an Online Personal Training subscription with all the benefits or a simply a one off bespoke workout plan I am here to support you.

We will start of with a 30 minute online consultation to discuss your personal fitness goals, your current nutrition and training activities, any gyms or equipment you have access to. I will then use this information to write you bespoke plans, we’ll schedule a follow up session to present the plan and all you to ask any questions. we will also discuss follow on support, regular check-ins and training plan updates.

My Background

I’ve always had a real passion for fitness however I haven’t always been a Personal Trainer. I worked in the Financial industry prior to changing career. It was after the birth of my second child that I decided I wanted a better work / life balance and to help others so I retrained as a Personal Trainer with the aim to motivate others to achieve their very best.

As well as running my PT business supporting client face to face and online, I am also a Mum of two beautiful children and work with my husband running an IT and Cyber Security business, so I understand the high pressure demands of everyday life, and how challenging it can be fitting in healthy eating and exercise around the chaos of every day.

My Mission

My mission is to provide you with the best personal training sessions, fitness programmes and advise to help you get fit, lose weight, transform your body, mind and life! I really believe that fitness and healthy eating is core to reducing daily stress, feeling good and living a longer and active life.

I can help set you realistic, achievable time bound goals that get the results you really want. Working with you to ensure your programme is fun and effective so you enjoy your time training and remain committed to a fitter and healthier lifestyle.

    Why will a personal trainer benefit me?

    The biggest benefit of a Personal Trainer is that we are trained in teaching others how to exercise with correct form and safely. A personal trainer will also support you with nutritional and lifestyle guidance, keeping you motivated and most importantly accountable to your goals.

    Do you work with beginners?

    Yes 100%. I can cater workouts for everyone, any age, any shape. My workouts are tailored to each individual client.

    How often should I train?

    For best results I recommend at least two Personal Training sessions with me and another two to three forms of exercise per week, this could be a walk, cycle, swim, run etc. It all depends on your individual circumstances, which we will discuss during your free consultation.

    Do I need a gym membership?

    Absolutely not, I have multiple options available depending on your fitness levels and goals. I work with the majority of my clients at their home or a local open space. I also run sessions at a private gym, in Letchworth, which is only open to Personal Trainers and their clients.

    If you want online coaching or a just a workout plan, I will work the training plans around the space and equipment you have available to you. we will discuss this during you initial consultation.

    Do I need equipment for 1-2-1 sessions?

    No not at all, I have a variety of mobile training equipment like dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, resistance bands, battle ropes, swiss balls and more, if you have some equipment then I can incorporate it into the sessions too. Likewise if we are training in the private gym at Letchworth they provide all the gym equipment we need.

    Can I mix at home and gym sessions?

    Yes you can, many of my clients like to do this. We can discuss this during your free consultation.

    What locations do you cover?

    I am based in Hitchin North Hertfordshire for 1-2-1 and group training i cover the following areas, Hitchin, Letchworth, Fairfield, Stotfold, Arlesey, Henlow, Ickleford, Pirton, Great Offley, St Ippolyts, Stevenage, Knebworth and Biggleswade, if your within these area I am happy to travel to you. For gym based personal training we will meet at a private Gym located in Letchworth .

    All online coaching and training plans are delivered remotely.

    What are your sessions like? will you shout at me?

    Each sessions is pre-planned to your individual ability and goals, I like to mix things up so that sessions are fun and varied. I will push you to train harder but always within your limits. If you need to stop and take a breather, just let me know. I only ever shout if you ask me too 🙂

    Do I have to eat food that I don’t like?

    No you don’t have to eat food you don’t like (unless you dislike all vegetables). This is not I don’t a diet!!!! I provide guidance and support on changing your habits and lifestyle to enable weight loss for good. This can only work if you eat foods that you actually enjoy.

    What should I wear and bring to our sessions

    I would always recommend wearing what makes you feel comfortable, loose fitting comfortable clothing is ideal. Trainers, a bottle of water and sweat towel are a must.

    Will I have to be weighed

    I always encourage my clients to track their progress, but we only do what you are comfortable with. Weight can be a tool to track progress but is not always the best indicator. As you train you will lose fat and gain muscle, muscle weighs more than fat, so you can be making great progress without seeing huge losses in weight. You can get a much better indication from body measurements and photographs. You will also notice a change in how your clothes fit. I would encourage everyone to have a monthly check-in.

    I just want a training plan, can you help?

    I would always recommend you sign up for an online PT subscription so I can provide ongoing support, check-ins and plan updates, but if you simply want a training plan tailored to you and your goals then I am happy to help.

    What is your booking / cancellation policy

    Booking a 1-2-1 or group PT session
    When booking a session I request a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% due at the end of the session, you will then pay a further 50% to book the next session and so on. You can simply pay as you go or buy blocks of sessions .

    Cancelling a 1-2-1 or group PT session
    I operate a 24hr cancelation policy, if you give more than 24hrs notice there is no cancelation fee, if you cancel within 24hr of the session I charge a 50% cancelation fee. There is no commitment other than the session you have booked so you are free to stop training with me at any point.

    Online Coaching Subscription
    When you subscribe to online coaching I require the monthly fee to be paid in advance each month. You can cancel you monthly subscription at any time during that month, the online service will continue until the end of the month.

    Buying a Training Plan
    When you request a bespoke training plan, I request payment of 50% upfront, with the remaining 50% due once the plan has been provided, new plans or changes will be charged seperatley.

    After having a second caesarean I wanted to train effectively and safely to build my strength back up. PT Becca has been brilliant in building my core strength up and is very knowledgeable about appropriate exercises to get you to where you should be.     PT Becca is an excellent PT, she is very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions around fitness and nutrition. She sets challenging and fun training sessions,pushing you beyond what you would do if you were training on your own, she also makes you accountable for your progress by checking up on what exercises you have been doing and food you have eaten between sessions. There is no magic quick fix answers here, just the truth that getting fit and shedding those extra pounds takes time, effort, dedication and lifestyle changes. Highly recommend
